Yeah OK, I see. Your System has maybe not enough Ram for WinXP. Can you upgrade your ram? (i don't know if your System can handle more ram)
have you tried any older drivers? maybe these will work better...
but i know that the Voodoo 3 3000 will work under WinXP with both the SFFT and Amigasport drivers. But my Voodoo 3 have worked fine only with 3dfx and OpenGL-Games, under D3D-Games my System freeze every time, i think because of my older System. Under Win98 all works fine.

What System are you using? (CPU, Ram etc.)
Have you tried to use Win98?
Maybe it will run better with Win98, because it hasn't as much 3dfx-Driver-promblems as WinXP.
I know that i have Problems with my older System as i installed WinXP.
As i installed Win98 and the original Drivers for this Card all the Problems gone. (i don't use the latest drivers, because of Problems with some D3D-Games)

Maybe your Voodoo2 is dead, try it on another System  to except an MB-Failure
but i think your Voodoo2 isn't working after a long time lying somewehre...

try to install Win98SE or WinME, i had the same Problem with my Voodoo 3 3000, as i Installed Win98SE it runs all fine.
Maybe try another mobo and CPU like Glide said.

I've played in with win98 on Voodoo2, Voodo3 and VoodooBanshee, it works great(fps rate isunder 30 mostly) on my Athlon XP 2100+.

Can somebody tell me how and if it works good or bad.

Can I run Doom3 on my newer system. My System: p3 860 mhz, 386 mb of ram, radeon 9200 128mb, voodoo2 12mb.
I will try it out, because I've played Call of Duty 2 on it without Problems and I played The Godfather, both Games have min requirements of 1,4 Ghz and both runs very well on my system.

Yesterday I has installed Driver version 1.03.05 for win98 from falconfly.de and tried to play GTA3 and GTAvc. Both games works realy good. I don't know if it lies on my System (PIII 800 mhz, Via Chipset, voodoo3 3000 AGP, 256 mb ram) but both games works better than with ver. 1.07.xx(it didn't stuck). I tried to make some screenshots but don't know how.

PIII 800 mhz, 256 mb sdram, 133 mhz fsb, voodoo3 3000 AGP, voodoo2 (alone not SLI), win 98

As I saw the pics of patched doom3 on voodoo2, I think the graphics seen like MOHAA, because of this I will try Doom3.

I have same problem with my voodoo3 3000. When I used the original directx7 driver form my cd wihch I get with my card, the Game works very well, but the Textures looks bad. As I used the 1.07.xx drivers for win98 the textures looks now well but the Game stuck after 5 minutes.I don't know what to do now.

I tried to play GTA-vc and GTA3 on my banshee(pci) and on my voodoo3(AGP), but my system hang off after a few minutes of gameplay. I use the newest raziel and 3dfx drivers but nothing helps.
The -opengl command doesn't help, the game runs in d3d. What can I do to tun this Game on my banshee or voodoo3?
