solved!

the solution was so simple [:I]

my monitor driver was "Plug & PLay Monitor" - that worked OK on Ati, but Voodoo2 must have specified monitor type - the best is driver from monitor vendor [8D]

hi

at first, i've read readme ;)

i've got voodoo2 12mb (some noname) + ati rage 128 16mb agp
(without voodoo2 i've 100Hz at 800*600), celeron 400

my windows 98se cannot install the reg files for adjusting refresh rates - it says that it's not a valid format

so i made it by hand with regedit... but when in display settings i click on voodoo 2 tab, refresh rates are all back on 60hz

and here's the biggest problem : none of these tweaks won't change my desktop refresh rate - it is still 60hz (in refresh rates settongs of the ati card there is only "adapter default" and "optimal" - both are 60hz :(

i've got this problem with any kind of drivers...
