The screenshots in this page have been taken from Quake 4 video game, a first-person shooter developed by Raven Software, using id Tech 4 graphics engine, and published by Activision in 2005 for Microsoft Windows PC gaming platform.

Then this title has been ported to other gaming platforms as Linux PC and Xbox 360 console. These images have been generated while Quake 4 was running at 1080p video resolution and with maxed-out graphics settings, including 8x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering.
