Title: Anything unordinary about this 5500 AGP?
Post by: TBC-Or1on on 06 April 2008, 17:36:41
Just curious, a good amount of people have seemed intrigued by the stickers on the fans. I must say that I've seen a whole lot of Aavid logos, but does it change the significance at all? Thanks.

It's seems to be a late one, because of the stickers.
Check out the back of the card, there must be the manufacturing date.
( Over the 3dfx logo, you shold find a nummber. i.e.2500 means Week 25 year 2000 ).

Very insightful, thank you. It says 2100, would having a late produced version be any more valuable than an early one?

not necesary... maybe a model like 2500 would be "better"... but it does not matter, it is a 3dfx card!!!!!!1 ;)

The card pictured above is the card from an auction I won.  Below is a picture of the card after I received it and cleaned it :) [ it was full of smoker scum ] Now it's clean.  Feels good to save a 3dfx card from a sh*tty home.

Date is nothing special 2100.. :)  but it still rocks.
