Title: Voodoo 5500 Questions
Post by: Gizmobiaritz on 24 March 2007, 18:52:43
Greetings

I saw Voodoo 5500 PCI on eBay (apparently for PC) with a DVI and analog connection. Is that possible? The ad maintained it was government sur-plus and that they did not know if it worked or not. Could it have been a Mac version? I have never seen a PC version with a DVI connection, not in retail anyway.

In your opinion, for a windows 98 SE system (Dell optyplex 150 tower, 256 Mb ram) that is meant only for playing games (dos and win 98 games) which will be better the PCI or AGP version of the 5500 ?

Thank you.

You will find a 5500 Agp easier than a 5500 Pci and it will be less expensive.
