I like to share with all you the opportunity to download a graphics driver (https://www.3dfxzone.it/public/uploaded/Glide/Voodoo2-Windows-x64.zip) that potentially enables you to run GLide-based games - like Unreal Tournament, Quake 2, Kingpin, and Deus Ex - with one 3dfx Voodoo2 card or two 3dfx Voodoo2 cards in SLI on x64 editions of Microsoft Operative System Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10.
Of course, please feel free to try this Voodoo2 driver (https://www.3dfxzone.it/public/uploaded/Glide/Voodoo2-Windows-x64.zip) and let us know your testing results got with a Windows x64-based system.
Windows 10 users need to disable the driver signature enforcement - as described in this official tutorial (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-do-i-disable-driver-signature-enforcement-win/a53ec7ca-bdd3-4f39-a3af-3bd92336d248?auth=1#ThreadAnswers) - to successfully install the driver.
3dfxzone.it (https://www.3dfxzone.it/) is making available this driver as mirror: in fact, this package comes out from the forum of russian site old-games.ru (https://www.old-games.ru/forum/xfa-blog-entry/3dfx-voodoo-2-windows-7-64bit.3164/).
Bye bye
I made a 64 bit voodoo2 driver years back and it looks like they stole a few files I made without accrediting me, crooks
i tried the driver in windows 10 x64 with the PCI-PCIX bridge, but unfortunately is not working.
i got the error"Mapmen returned an error trying to map memory"
is there any possibility to fix this ?
Hi m14radu,
surely your is not a report that gives happiness, but many thanks for you feedback, of course :)
Just two questions for you.
1)With what games did you get this error?
2)Can you share a screenshot of Windows 10 registry at this path: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE3Dfx InteractiveVoodoo2Glide]
Let me know.
Bye bye
