I mean from an older version to a newer version
recently i've got a V5 5500, it uses Hyundai -6ns RAM and its BIOS version is 1.06
but i can find ver. 1.18 (modded or unmodded), my question is from here...does the new BIOS give more stability or perfomance than the old original BIOS or actually flash to new one or not give the same thing?

P.S. another question, what is the difference between the 1.18 original and the 1.18 mod dream intro?

the 1.18 fixed some larger video modes, but I am not sure what all is different than that. I think the mod dream intro has some settings to tweak your ram timings and such. may be worth a look at.
