I don't think that Obi and maybe others 3dfx collectors would like to see TM at the top of the List.
This is not a problem of jealousy but for some 3dfx collectors, TM is not a collector.
Some people would have liked to get 1 V5 6K but their wishes have been broken because of insane prices.
Then limits have been broken.
Cards are his cards but extrem mods on rare hardware in order to get some mhz were pointless and dangerous.
Since a V5 6K is apparently dead, i don't think that people will change their mind.

People are sick and tired of all this, really the only active person I see posting here is Voodoo5K6 spamming his useless mods and experiments over and over again, he ignores the professional advices he gets from other fellow 3dfx'ers and he already has killed a card... this is hurting the community not preserving it, I am gonna do what it takes and what I can to preserve the 3dfx community to what it once was, Voodooalert & x-3dfx have been saved, it's still not too late for this place, but I leave it up to you, I am fed up of putting so much energy in things to where most of my posts are neglected and not read.
Please take this as a serious problem Glide, I am not making this up.

I understand people who collect the v5 6000 getting annoyed at TM failures when he decides to hack at some rare hardware, but ultimately, it is his money he's spending so he may do as he likes.
As for the v5 6000 community people thinking he should stop buying them, well, maybe they can stop selling them to him. I mean, he's kind of easy to track with google; from the start he said he has some projects of tweaking them and he's been keeping the world informed about his collection expanding and his projects to come.
I mean, if someone owns a v5 6000 and parts from it for a comfortable amount of money, they shouldn't go crying about what happens to it when it's out of their hands. They shouldn't have sold it in the first place.
All in all, I find this all thing quite interesting. On one side, one rich guy who decides to get his hands on many rare and collectible items, not only to drive the prices up but also to try to extract the last bits of performance out of them. On the other side, a church of firm believers in that the remaining items should be preserved.
In the mean time, I'd be happy with a working voodoo1.
