is there a way to run the 3dxf mechwarrior 2 to run on a voodoo 5500[?]

Hi ms-dos,

MechWarrior 2 doesn't support Windows XP and above so please try to run this game in "Windows 9x compatibility mode".

Hi,
The game uses a very old version of the Glide.
Never the game was officially patched to run on a V2 in Glide mode but
it runs on a V2 with the glide.dll and the sst1init.dll (from a Voodoo 1) into the Mech 2 directory and with a batch file.
So i'm not sure that it will run with a V5 in Glide mode.

in the manual i read that it will run on a voodoo 2

it will run on a voodoo 2 fine if you have the voodoo 1 and voodoo 2 game this was a newer copy af the game you nead a patch for it run on a voodoo2 if you have the older copy
