Title: How to run Splinter Cell 2 with 3D Analyze?
Post by: Er_Miche on 02 April 2004, 10:37:44
My graphic card (Geforce 4 MX 440 64Mb) does not allow pixel shader. How can I emulate it using 3D Analyze in order to run the new game "Splinter Cell - Pandora Tomorrow".

Thank you very much.

P.S.: Be explicit, I've never used 3D Analyze before. :-(

Put simply, you can't. Pixel shaders on a modern card run at about the same speed as a 10GHz P4, which you simply can't emulate with any playable performance. You need a new graphics card, unless the pixel shader use can be disabled.

Works fine for my Geforce4mx440 using winxp and drivers version 4.4.0.3

Use these settings

Pixel and Vertex Shader
force max. pixel shader version 1.4: checked
skip pixel shader version 1.1: checked
skip pixel shader version 1.4: checked
skip pixel shader version 2.0: checked
force low precision pixel shader: checked

Remove Stuttering
quality mode: checked

Run the game splinetercell2.exe

I hope it helps.
