Performance Improvements
Performance improvements with this release of Catalystincludes Company of Heroes DX10 frame rates increasing as much as 20% across all of the ATI RadeonHD 2x00 series of products and on all ATI RadeonHD 3x00 series of products. These performance improvements are even larger (up to 30%) for CrossFireconfigurations.
Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating
System
This section provides information on resolved issues in this release of the ATI CatalystSoftware Suite for Windows Vista. These include:
- Enemy Territory: Quake Wars: Corruption is no longer noticed when editing levels. Further details can be found in topic number 737-32141

- .NET Framework an Unhandled Exception error no longer occurs when upon booting or re-booting the system. Further details can be found in topic number 737-32115

- After installing the graphics driver an error message may be displayed when attempting to launch DirectX based games when using an ATI AGP product. Further details can be found in topic number 737-31625
- Call of Juarez: Setting the game level with Optimal Quality and high in-game settings may result in the game level being blank. Further details can be found in topic number 737-30591
- Enemy Territory: Quake Wars may have corruption on the water and sky after increasing the game resolution. Restarting the game at that higher resolution or issuing reloadImages command in the game console corrects the corruption. This issue only impacts graphics cards up to the ATI RadeonX850. - Lost Planet: Setting AA to either 4x or 8x may intermittently result in the game failing to respond. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28492
