Gex 2 3dfx
readme for 3Dfx patch

*** GENERAL ***
To use this .exe you must have a video card that supports 3Dfx.
You must also have the typical installation of Gex2 on your hard drive.
(minimal installation will not work)
When extracting, extract to the c: drive to allow proper installation. If Gex2
is installed on another drive, see below for instructions.
*** IF YOU CHANGED THE INSTALL DIRECTORY WHEN YOU FIRST INSTALLED GEX 2 ***
This patch extracts into the default Gex2 directory.
[C:\program files\crystal dynamics\gex23d]
If you Installed Gex2 into a directory other than the default directory, you
will have to manually move the gex23Dfx.exe file into the directory you
installed Gex2 into. You will also have to redirect the shortcut in your
start menu to the location of the executable.
*** SHORTCUT ***
You must restart your computer before the shortcut will appear in your start
menu. *(See multiple logins below)
*** USERS OF MULTIPLE LOGIN NAMES ***
If you have customized your start menu for seperate users on your computer, the
shortcut for the 3Dfx version may only appear in the Windows® default start menu.
[c:\windows\Start Menu\Programs\Crystal Dynamics] You must copy it to
the other Windows® start menu configurations manually.
*** NOTE ***
You will have to manually delete all shortcuts when you have uninstalled the game.
