On the hardware side, the minimum requirements allow to play Far Cry 4 also with old or however not much powerful video cards, like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 o AMD Radeon HD5850, and a entry-level CPU, like the Intel Core i5-750 (or the
AMD Phenom II X4 95).
Of course the specs strongly change if you want match the optimal requirements and "play well" Far Cry 4. In this case, you must use a high-end video card, like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X, and
a fast CPU, like the Intel Core i5-2400S or AMD FX-8350.
Far Cry 4, the sequel of Far Cry 3 as well as fourth installment in the Far Cry series, was developed by Ubisoft Montreal (more in detail, Ubisoft Montreal was supported by other studios like Ubisoft Red Storm, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai, and Ubisoft Kiev) using a modified version of the Dunia Engine 2 technology.
Far Cry 4 is set to be released worldwide on November 18, 2014 for all the main gaming platforms, and so for the PCs (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
At last you can look below the latest Far Cry 4 screenshots that Ubisoft has posted togheter with the PC system requirements.
