horror atmosphere that surrounds players.
Hunt: Showdown is a difficult to categorize videogame because it includes several aspects that individually are sufficient to mark a well-defined
game's genre. In fact Hunt: The Showdown brings us classic elements of a survival shooter as well as those of open-world horror adventure, and so on.
Hunt: Showdown is currently under development at Crytek headquarter. Developers are working with latest version of well-known proprietary graphics
engine CryEngine. Obiuvsly this one is a technology that, starting from its first releases, has allowed to build games with very high graphics detail as well as highly
realistic rendered environments and objects.
Hunt: Showdown derives from another project originally developed by Crytek USA and named Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. Afterwards Crytek USA ended its activities due to financial reasons, and so Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age was managed directly by Crytek that also changed its name into Hunt: Showdown.
Release of Hunt: Showdown is scheduled sometime in 2018, also if Crytek didn't still share official definite info on this topic.
