Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Leadtek Research ha lanciato la video card WinFast GTX 460 OC 1024MB in versione "overclocked by factory" (la scheda segue la variante con 768MB di RAM lanciata nel corso del mese di luglio, ndr).

La nuova scheda grafica è basata, al pari di ogni altra GTX 460, sulla gpu GF104; tuttavia il maker ha impostato la frequenza di clock del processore grafico, che include 336 Cuda core, e della memoria RAM (1024MB di G-DDR5) rispettivamente a 725MHz e a 1800MHz (3600MHz). Il bus di interconnessione tra il core grafico e il frame buffer è a 256-bit.

La stabilizzazione termica della video card è ottenuta con il ricorso a un cooler attivo a basso livello di rumore, dotato di due heat-pipe in rame con diametro di 8mm.

Tra le tecnologie supportate dalla scheda, che può lavorare con filtro antialiasing a 32x, citiamo DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.0, Shader Model 5.0, PhysX e 3D Vision Surround. Il set di connettori di uscita include una porta HDMI e due DVI-I.
