Con il seguente comunicato stampa, TUL Corporation ha presentato la nuova video card LCS HD5870, una ATI Radeon HD5870 progettata per soddisfare in pieno coloro che prediligono abbinare al gaming high-end l'overclock della scheda grafica.

La scheda è infatti collocata commercialmente nell'ambito della linea PowerColor Liquid Cooling Solution (LCS), il che garantisce, da un lato, l'operatività in "overclock by factory" molto spinto e, dall'altro, l'equipaggiamento con un cooler a liquido, che è evidentemente fondamentale per garantire la stabilità alle alte frequenze.

La LCS HD5870 V2 è basata sulla gpu ATI HD5870, che lavora a 950MHz, ed è dotata di 1GB di RAM G-DDR5 operante a 1200MHz (4.8Gbps); l'interfaccia di collegamento tra il core grafico e la memoria locale è a 256-bit mentre il set di porte di uscita include due DL-DVI, una HDMI e una DisplayPort.
