| Two major new features: Process Memory Usage reporting displays memory distribution among current applications and processes; Global Memory Compression, which works differently from the usual memory freeing process and is unrelated to "RAM compressers" and "RAM doublers" sometimes used on old systems, reduces the "working set" memory requirement of processes. Also: customizable program sounds, various fixes, access to memory-related operating system tweaks, and full installation support (including Start Menu shortcut generation). Version 1.50 is likely the last major revision to FreeRAM XP Pro. |
