| Andretti Racing PC-CD Glide/H3D Upgrade F.A.Q. Q. What does this patch do for Andretti Racing? A. It features native "Glide" support for 3Dfx-based hardware accelerators. This yields higher framerate (faster gameplay), smoother special effects, and a cleaner overall look to the game. Furthermore, it features H3D support. Q. What do I need to run Andretti Racing with this upgrade? A. You will need a 3Dfx-based graphics acceleration card, along with Glide 2.4.3 (or newer) drivers for it, in order to take advantage of this patch. You will need special hardware (the "H3D PC System" and "H3D Eyewear") as well as the 3Dfx acceleration to see the "3D" aspect of the upgrade. Q. How do I install this upgrade? A. If you installed Andretti Racing to its' default directory (C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Andretti Racing) you can simply double-click on the Andretti Glide/H3D icon and then click on "Unzip". This will automatically replace your original Andretti Racing.exe with the "new" Glide/H3D version. If you installed the original Andretti Racing to another directory, simply type the path to that directory in the "Unzip To Folder" field before clicking the Unzip button. You can also choose to open the file with WinZip and extract it where you wish using WinZip's "Extract" button.
