NEW FEATURES AND BUG FIXES IN AIR WARRIOR(r) III V3.12
======================================================================

New Features
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- A new, large scale European terrain - one designed to fully support strategic bombing and resupply - has been added.
- The spin model has been reworked to prevent its use as an offensive air combat maneuver.
- Air Warrior III now supports higher resolutions in 3D hardware acceleration mode. This will only work, however, with 3D cards that support higher resolutions.
- The frame rate counter (evoked by OD in-flight) now operates in
all cockpit view modes. The counter appears in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- The host now supports a range of hardness values at each airbase. Previously, buildings at an airfield could be set as destructible or indestructible. Now the buildings at each airbase have a possible ten step hardness range, from soft (1) to hard (9). The setting for indestructible (0) is unchanged.
- The Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital stick is now supported.
- The Logitech WingMan Interceptor stick is now supported.

Bug Fixes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- The Air Warrior III spin model has been fixed to work properly on Pentium II and faster computers.
- Flap and throttle indicators now work correctly under all screen resolutions.
- A minor memory leak has been plugged.
- Fixed bug that caused 3D graphics to display on only the upper quarter of the screen on Voodoo 3 and riva tnt boards. Hardcoded offsets for screen clipping were wrong. This apparently was ignored by DX5, but DX6 drivers paid attention to this value.
- A German Error string was translated from English to German in the German language version.
- A Kate no longer carries a lower turret position; it never had one.
- Gunners no longer jump with their ammo out of bombers.
- Bridges resurrection works properly now.
- In the course of testing higher resolutions in 3D mode, we discovered that maximum in-flight resolution was limited to desktop resolution. You could not select a game resolution higher than the resolution of your desktop. We removed this restriction in 3D mode. This limit is still in effect, however, for software rendering mode.
