Title: Old Gaming PC
Post by: 450 on 11 November 2004, 22:47:34
I got an old PC a few months ago and was hoping to use that as an old gaming rig.

Specs for:

Pentium 200MMX
96MB RAM
8.4 GB HDD
12x? CDROM
16-BIT ISA Soundcard
3 PCI ports

I want a Voodoo card, perhaps to play System Shock and such.

Should I get 2 Voodoo2's (both 12mb) and do SLI or should I get the Voodoo 4 4500?

Thanks

you can't get all V4 can afford if u dun have a powerful system..
so i will suggest a V2SLI (although still can't get 100% from it)

actually Voodoo series seems quite durable among the time, you can always expect more with a better system (Like i can play CS:CZ at 1024X768 using P4 1.6 and V2 SLI)
anyway, if u have money , go for V4 for sure, just remember that V4 can perform much better with a more powerful system, good luck and have good time playing with Voodoos

Hmmm..Maybe I can put it in my Pentium 4 2.5 when I'm bored...

I just want to play Quake I and II and other old games. I might see how bad Q3 runs on my system!
