Known Issue(s)
- When setting Granular Ratios, after reboot, ratios can get rounded up. to work
around this, when the XTU service stops, it will attempt to round ratios down to
the next lowest integer. If this fails, the workaround is to perform a cold reboot of
the system.
- If this issue is seen, please ensure you have the latest BIOS update for
your system.
- Some IPF providers, when installed along with XTU, can cause the XTU service to
crash. IPF SOC Thermal provider, PMT provider, and IGCL provider are known to
cause this to happen. Fixes for these providers will be coming via the BKC.
- The IGCL Provider is required for Graphics Frequency monitoring.
- Graphics Voltage monitoring is unavailable.
- System Agent Voltage monitor is unavailable.
- XTU service stability is not guaranteed during an IPF upgrade. If issues are seen,
restart the service or perform a system reboot to address the issue.
Package and Core TDP monitors can be inaccurate under heavy throttling with
higher polling periods. The workaround is to set a faster polling period.
